How to:.. become a VV VIP

Here’s an inspired way to combine a much needed holiday, and an experience of a lifetime with (last year’s) resolution to be fitter: cycle tour holidays across Europe with Viva Velo.
Owned and run by our lovely client Dyll Davies, VV are already busy planning 2018 itineraries.
As a bespoke cycle tour company they like nothing more than to take you places you haven’t been before – such as point-to-point trips in France, Spain, Italy and Sardinia using especially designed routes with you and your friends or family in mind.
There are also old favourites each year, such as the super-cycle-friendly Balearic island of Mallorca in March and April.
And if like most of us you haven’t dusted off your cycle saddle for some time – and feel a bit daunted by the idea of steep climbs, or joining as a solo cyclist, don’t be.
Founded on the principle that cycling should first and foremost be fun, Viva Velo was set up to provide something different from the run of the mill – at a reasonable price. Because VV is small they can tailor every tour to the needs of each group: riders are matched with others of similar ability. Its group sizes (max 12) and ride leader ratios means that it has the time to pay attention to the details, and you.
You come away with lasting friendships, muscle you didn’t have before and breath-taking memories of the stunning Gorge du Verdon, the mountains of the Voges and Black Forest or the roads of the famous Strade Bianchi. Not to mention the wine tasting at the end each day.
All the hotels used are high end 4 star and most have spa and massage facilities to aid those aching legs at the end of each day.
Here are a few tour samplers:
